Why is the word bitch not acceptable in my answers?

Because people would abuse the privilege. Same thing probably happens when you try to use the term for a male chicken.

Most likely because Yahoo Answers’ database isn’t going to recognise the fact you are talking about a female dog. It will scan all Questions and Answers for words that class as unacceptable, no matter the context, and either abbreviate, * out, or remove.

Because some people use this word in the wrong way and others do not know it’s correct meaning, so would find it offensive.

Odd but I had the same sort of experience, I put in the word sink, someone must of read it as stink and my answer was taken off!!

Mine was taken off because I said to “suck curry of a Cinnamon stick”.. I told Yahoo that I would finish with answers if they didn’t stop acting like children….Which I did do…. Two months later they wrote to me saying they will reinstate my answer….They even gave me 10 points and so Im now back again…

The answer to your problem is to put a space between each letter thus:- b i t c h. Now isn’t that easy?
