When you ask or answer a Q do you ask yourself if the QorA is clearly understood viewed from a 3rd party POV?

I have asked many questions that people have just assumed on. They answer things I have not asked or they immediately apply my question to my life. For instance. If I ask. Should we forgive those who hurt us? People will say things like. “Just because you were hurt by that woman it does not mean you should be such a prick.” Sometimes the question is just meant to be answered, not interpreted. I think people interpret too much instead of just answering what was asked.
